As you know, we’re currently living in a bit of a strange world. Talk of the coronavirus or Covid-19 is everywhere, and it’s something we need to take seriously as individuals and as a business.
Over the coming weeks and months, we anticipate that we’ll have staff and clients who need to self-isolate/quarantine through contraction of the virus or potential exposure to it.
Our entire focus as an organisation is providing support to families and children who need it, whether that be tutoring or disability support. We’re committed to doing whatever we can to minimise disruptions to our service, but the health and safety of our team and our clients is our number one priority.
We ask that you let us and our team members who work with you know as soon as possible if you or anyone in your family are unwell.
No cancellation fees will apply for cancelled sessions due to illness, self-isolation or concerns about Covid-19 exposure. Any pre-paid tutoring sessions cancelled will be credited to you for Term 2.
There has been speculation that public libraries may close, if that happens, we’ll reach out to impacted clients and discuss options.
We know that missing shifts means missing wages, but we ask that you carefully consider the impact any illness may have on your clients - even a sniffle in these uncertain times can be worrying to families. If you are unwell, please contact your clients and us as soon as possible to discuss your sessions.
If you suspect you’ve had exposure to Covid-19, please ensure you do not work and follow the appropriate government guidelines.
Please ensure you practise good hygiene to protect against infection and prevent the virus from spreading.
